Wading through the mass of detail in a family history website can be a daunting task! It's truly a case of not being able to see the wood for the trees. The researcher has the advantage of spending so much time with the subjects of the research that a more whole picture begins to emerge.
The aim of these pages is to present a potted history, or vignette, of some of the families of my research. Hopefully this will give the reader a sense of reality to the bare information presented elsewhere on this site.
