In 1924 Amy emigrated to Canada leaving Ruth behind. Where did she live in those early early and with whom? Later as a child she was brought up in Newbiggin with my parents siblings. Apparently she thought she was another sibling only to discover later that she was a niece.
  • She was born on 11 May 1920 in Newbiggin By the Sea, Northumberland, England, (at age 22y). (No father named on Birth Certificate. But a Henry Temple is named as father on Ruth's marriage certificate. Was this just a fiction?)1
  • She married Harry Collins on 19 August 1942 when he was 22y.2
