Annie

F, #91, Deceased

Biography

  • She was also known as Annie Bell.
  • She died in Rothbury, Northumberland, England.
  • She was buried. Rothbury, Northumberland.
  • BIO: Said to live in Temperence Hotel, Rothbury. Plaque in Rothbury Church to Matthew Coxon Bell. Killed in Action WW1 Relationship of Matthew to family not known.
  • She married John Thomas Bell after 1871. Research Note: The only evidence for this marriage is the possibility of an Annie Bell being the namesake of Annie Coxon, who was sure she was named after a great aunt. However the only relatives found at the temperance hotel in Rothbury are Ann Coxon, #214 m Joseph Scott #215. As at 28/11/06 no trace of John T after the census of 1871. Therefore the marriage is highly suspect.
